Pamela Hayden, who has voiced characters on “The Simpsons” since it began in 1989 and famously played Bart’s nerdy best friend Milhouse Van Houten, announced that she was retiring from the show. “One thing that I love about Milhouse is he’s always getting knocked down but he keeps getting up,” Hayden said in a tribute video. “I love the little guy.”
