The European Central Bank has imposed a €1.7 million fine on Luxembourg's state-owned bank, Spuerkeess, for errors in its regulatory reporting between 2018 and 2023.

Despite the fine, Spuerkeess reassures that its stability and credit ratings remain strong, with enhanced internal controls to prevent future errors.
