At least 37 women have accused former Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed of sexual assault, including serial rape and the sexual abuse of minors, according to the legal team representing them.

In response, Harrods issued an apology to the victims, adding, "the Harrods of today is a very different organization to the one owned and controlled by Al Fayed between 1985 and 2010."
