Intrigued by a trail marker he spotted in upstate New York, the photographer Casey Kelbaugh set out to follow a meandering — and little-known — hiking route north from New York City. The Long Path, as it is known, took him on a 27-day journey and roughly 300 miles of walking on trails that stretch from Manhattan to the Catskill Mountains.
