44,885 is CRAZY.
The Tigers waited a long time for this.
So they packed the fans into Comerica Park on Wednesday for their first postseason home game in a decade.
A crowd of 44,885 attended Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians, making it the largest postseason crowd in the ballpark’s history. The previous high was 43,973 for Game 3 of the 2013 ALDS against the Oakland A’s.
