Iranian-born artist Alborz Teymoorzadeh has been forced to leave Luxembourg after being denied a residence permit renewal.

Despite strong backing from Luxembourg's cultural institutions, the Ministry of Home Affairs deemed his work as providing "no added value in terms of economic interests."
