Luxembourg's public finances are set to benefit from a surge in cigarette sales this year, with excise duties expected to contribute an additional €700 million, bringing total tobacco-related revenue to €1.4 billion in 2024.

Luxembourg remains one of the cheapest places to buy cigarettes in Western Europe.
