Portugal to dodge worst of Storm Caetano

Portugal avoids worst effects of the depression
Storm Caetano is set to bring severe weather to parts of the Iberian Peninsula later this week, although Portugal is expected to escape the brunt of the storm.
Neighbouring Spain is facing orange alerts for strong winds and rough seas, while in Portugal no such weather alerts have been issued.
The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) predicts rain and wind in the country’s north and centre regions, but with less intensity than in Spain. Coastal regions may see waves up to three meters high, and winds will be moderate, reaching up to 70 km/h in gusts at higher altitudes, but no other worrisome weather phenomenon have been mentioned.
Further south, temperatures will be mild, ranging from minimums of 11ºC-13ºC and maximums of 19ºC-21ºC in the Algarve, with clear or partly cloudy skies forecast.
