On November 8, SandyBlue was thrilled to be part of the prestigious 2024 Algarve Business Awards. This annual event brought together the Algarve’s vibrant business community to celebrate the past year’s achievements.

A consecutive win for marketing excellence
The first big win of the evening came in the category of ‘Outstanding Marketing/Branding Initiative’, an honour that SandyBlue has now achieved for three consecutive years. This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication to dynamic and creative marketing efforts that continually set us apart. It demonstrates that we don’t rely on tried-and-tested techniques – we always strive to evolve, keep up with trends and ensure our marketing efforts are fresh.

We were also thrilled to see Suzi Bawden, our Guest Experience Manager, recognised as ‘Employee of the Year’. Her dedication shines through in everything she does, from her attention to detail to her warm, welcoming attitude toward every guest.
Suzi goes above and beyond to make sure that each stay is seamless, comfortable and special. Her win is a reflection of SandyBlue’s focus on excellence, where we work tirelessly to exceed guest expectations and provide exceptional service from start to finish.
While we did not take the other two awards, SandyBlue was a runner-up in both the ‘Team of The Year’ and ‘Customer Excellence’ categories. This is still a fantastic recognition and shows the calibre of the entrants this year.
