The UK could face its first ever farming strike this Sunday in protest at the government’s inheritance tax crackdown.
The Welsh pressure group Enough is Enough said “British farmers have simply had enough” and called on “those who are able” to begin a week-long strike on November 17, with the aim of stopping produce leaving their farms for a week.
“We are being suffocated by a government that seems determined to destroy our livelihoods, our future and our ability to feed the nation,” they said in a leaked statement seen by The Times
