The American embassy in Kyiv has temporarily closed after it said it received information that an unusually large air attack on the Ukrainian capital is imminent.
“The US embassy in Kyiv had received specific information of a potential significant air attack on November 20. Out of an abundance of caution, the embassy will be closed, and embassy employees are being instructed to shelter in place,” the US Department of State Consular Affairs said in a statement
